BMS Updates
The installation of the Falcon BMS Updates can seem fairly complicated, but if you read the following carefully, you should be done in approximately 10 Minutes depending on the processing power of your rig.
- First, let's assume you have already downloaded the product updates from the Benchark Sims website. The files should be named: Falcon_BMS_4.32_Update_1.exe and Falcon_BMS_4.32_Update_2.exe.
If the files you have downloaded are in ZIP format, uncompress them and put both extracted files in your original Falcon BMS 4.32 Installer location. Not where it is installed but the location where the installer setup.exe is located as per the image below. - The first thing to do in order for the install process of BMS Update 1 to work is to run the Falcon_BMS_4.32_Update_1.exe file.
When you first run the file you will be presented with a small window like the one below.

This first window explains the procedure that we have covered previously about the location of the installer files.
Another important point is that it is no use to save your previous version of the bms.cfg file because it will be overwritten and some new information as been added to it. Yes, unfortunately you will have to set your configuration one more time.
Once you have read and understood these rules click Understood.
-
In the next window click Browse and point to the Falcon BMS Installer folder. Again, not the location of the installation but the location of the Installer.

Once you have pointed out the location of the Installer, verify that there is enough space on you hard drive as indicated in the lower left corner of the window.
Then click Install.
-
When the Update Installer has finished. Click Close. But you are not finished yet, you have inoculated the Update into the Falcon BMS Installer folder. Now comes the real installation of the Update.

- Now you are going to update you Falcon BMS 4.32. Run the setup.exe file in the Installer folder below.

The first window only gives you two choices. Connect to the internet to check for updates and Remove the product from your computer.

At the bottom in the Found installation folder, the location where you have installed your simulator previously. This location should have been detected automatically. At this point check the first option to check for updates on the web. Don't worry, it won't. There are no online updates as of yet, only the downloadable ones.
Click Next.

Now, the following window checks for the downloaded Installer file's integrity as well as the setup.exe.
If all is well you will get the next window with Installed programs and Downloaded programs listed like below:

This is all that is needed here for now. Click Next.
The next window shows you the installable programs available The ones already installed should not be selected. But don't worry if you followed these instructions properly the right one should be selected like the image below:

If the right item is selected like it should automatically, click Next and the installation will begin.

Again, depending on the power of your rig, this should take less than a couple of minutes. Once it has finished the installation, you will be asked if you want to install ffdshow, if you want to create desktop icons and start program items. You can select all three and click Next.
Then will give you the last window. Do not select Start Program. Click Finish.

-
For Update 2, follow the same procedure as Update 1 but with the Falcon_BMS_4.32_Update_2.exe.
starting with the Innoculation of the file and then the Installation.
Once completed, Restart your computer.
Install Preps

You may have noticed an extra file in the above list. Do no worry about it, it is just a compressed backup of the data folder. A good habit if you don't want to start from scratch in the event of a problem. But if this seems complicated to you, don't bother it isn't necessary to complete this procedure.
Update 1 Innoculation
Update 1 Installation
Update 2 Innoculation & Installation
Important Note: Before you can fly a mission you will have to reset the simulator settings to your prefered values because they where overwritten by the installers to ad extra information in you config file. So, do not overwrite this latest file, just use the Configuration and Setup menus to set your defaults.
